Do galleries in general shy away from drawing?

    I don’t see drawing shows that often. Is there a good reason?

    I think generally speaking, drawings are more fragile and require framing. My experience is that galleries would rather sell paintings at a higher price point. The irony of course is that after an artist is famous, everyone wants to go back to the drawings as even more valuable. It’s a silly game.

    It’s a good question. I thin u less the gallery specializes in drawing they probably do. They can make more on painting.
